Bomet Potato Diggers set the standard for simplicity and functionality. The UPUS one-row digger requires a 25 horsepower tractor with a Category 1 3-point hitch.
The tractor straddles and moves down the crop row as the blade digs below the ground to lift and move the potatoes on to the conveyor belt. Dirt is shaken off as the potatoes move to to the rear of the machine. The conveyor belt is covered with a rubber coating to handle the crop gently.
The crop is laid on the ground for pickup, and can be directed to the side of the machine with the finger assembly. Digging depth is controlled by side wheels and the angle of the blade.
