GEMINI ONE ROW POTATO PLANTER, STEEL WHEEL

Bomet Gemini planters set the standard for mechanized small scale potato planting. The Cat 1 narrow hitch allows the unit to be mounted a sub-compact tractor - a minum of 20 PTO HP is required to handle the unit effectively.

The hopper can hold approximately 200 lbs. of seed potatoes, and can plant them with a consistent seed spacing of 32cm (12.5"). Seed spacing can be adjusted on the steel wheel unit by changing the diameter of the wheel.

The Gemini is equipped with steel or rubber wheels, two furrowing units and a ground drive chain delivery system. The hopper bottom is protected by a rubber flap which also prevents small seed potatoes from falling out through the gap between conveyor chain and hopper side.

This SKU is fitted with steel wheels.

Note: the unit is shipped unassembled, and will require a couple hours of setup time.
