Paladin Mulcher Heads utilize a piston drive motor for high performance operation and reliability. This model is suitable for Excavators in the 20 to 30 metric tonne range, with hydraulic flow rates of 40 to 52 GPM.
The Magnum Mulcher head is powered hydraulically through a smooth self-aligning belt drive and a heavy duty bent axis variable displacement piston motor. Replaceable carbide teeth are mounted to fixed hammers on the rotor. The unit can easily shred up to 8" diameter hardwood trees with speed.
Reversible carbide teeth and claw teeth can easily be interchanged without the need of rebalancing the rotor; synchronous belt drive system eliminates belt and belt drive sprocket slippage.
