This product is an adapter for a post-hole digger, converting a 2.56" round shaft to a 2" round shaft.

Most commercial post-hole diggers use a gearbox with a 2-9/16" (2.56") round output shaft. If you need to reduce the size of the output shaft to fit a smaller 2" diameter auger, this adapter will achieve that.
