HERD 1200 POUND CAPACITY SPREADER

Herd 1200C Sure-Feed Spreader is a farm work horse designed for large acreage seeding and fertilizer spreading. The 16 bushel hopper capacity will keep you going longer between fill ups, saving time and money. This unit is designed for tractors with Category 2 three-point hitches - tractors that have the weight and stability to manage a large spreader.

Distribution rates range from as little as 3 lbs. of seed per acre to as high as 1,000 lbs. of fertilizer per acre. Switch from seed to fertilizer application without modification of any parts. Options include a small seed hopper conversion kit, lime spreading agitator, hopper lid, hydraulic drive conversion kit, and electric actuator to control the discharge gate.

The small seed hopper has a capacity of 1.3 bushels, or approximately 80 lbs. This kit allows the 1200C to spread small seeds that may be used in prairie restoration work, or specialized food plot work.
