Mid-capacity electric seeder designed specifically for truck or tractor mounting. Different mounting kits are available for receiver hitch mount, 3-point hitch mount, John Deere Gator, Polaris Ranger and Kubota RTV.
Note: not for mounting on ATV's due to capacity of spreader. UTV requires a tailgate and 2" receiver hitch.
The Herd I-258 Electric Spreader has a larger capacity (192 lbs) than the GT-77-ATV spreader (77 lbs). Like all Herd Spreaders it is designed for accurate spreading of grass seed, clover and other free flowing material. Herd's Sure Feed mechanism assures accurate spreading of many different materials, with the unique vibrating agitator.
Note: if you plan to mount the I-258 sprerader on a tractor 3-point hitch, check out the Herd M-12 spreader which includes the tractor 3-point hitch and runs off the tractor PTO shaft (not an electric motor).
