SKU: 125150A-BLNK
Brand: Bradco
Regular price $16,099.11

Excavator mount brush cutter, with a 50" working width, flow requirement of 17 - 22 GPM, and a cutting capacity of 5".

Bradco MX Series Brush Cutters are constructed with a solid formed T1 steel deck, and equipped with AR400 steel blades. These units are built for excavators in the 3 to 10 metric ton range, with auxiliary hydraulic flow rates of 13 to 35 gallons per minute.

The units have a universal bolt-on mounting system, which allows for versatility when switching between different brands of excavator, and increases the efficiency for rental fleet operators.

All units are equipped with a hinged debris shield which limits exposure to flying material. The patent pending TiltLatch system means the debris shield stays closed when the unit is operating in an extreme reach position, further enhancing operator and bystander safety.

Note: price reflects base price of unit and does not include the mounting system.

FAQ

1. What is the difference between a mulcher head and a brush cutter?
The mulcher head will require a heavier excavator and higher flow rate to run efficiently. Brush cutters are easier to hook up and operate, but will have less cutting capacity. Brush cutters are also much less expensive.

2. What is the minimum machine operating weight?
The brush cutter requires an excavator with a minimum operating weight of 3 metric tons, with auxiliary hydraulic flow rates of 13 to 35 gallons per minute.

3. Will I be able to mow and drive?
The brush cutter is designed to be used when the excavator is stationary.
